Ochre indexes knowledge into retrieval chunks. When an agent replies, it retrieves only from the source IDs assigned to that agent or explicitly scoped by the conversation.
- Sources are the user-facing records you manage.
- Chunks are the retrieval units used by the model.
- Agent access controls which sources an agent may use.
- Citations are generated from retrieved chunks where source metadata is available.
