Build your first agent

Agents are the support workers in Ochre. Each agent has its own identity, instructions, channels, skills, and source access. Current production reads still support legacy agent records while the first-class agent registry is being introduced.

1. 1Open Workbench, then choose Agents.
2. 2Create a new agent and give it a customer-facing name.
3. 3Add the use case, tone, and fallback behavior.
4. 4Attach only the sources that this agent should be allowed to retrieve from.
5. 5Use Playground to test answers before deploying a channel.
